Hello, people. I'm a DIY guy, not a pro electrician.
We know of 110 VAC wall outlets: 15 amp and 20 amp.
Are the inside parts for a 20A any physically tougher / thicker / more robust than the insides of a 15A?
Or, are they all the same, the only difference being that T-shape leg on the 20A?

The 20 amp receptacle is manufactured with thicker metal than 15 amps which makes it carry more current. Hope this helps
