I have just been browsing faceache ( Sorry ) and seen post after post from people complaining of being bored and that they can't wait to get back to work.

People spend all year complaining that they are always at work and get no time to relax and that the " Weekends go by too fast " so along comes christmas where quite a lot of people finally get to take a week off and relax and then within a matter of 3-4 days start moaning that they're ready to get back to work because they are Bored.
I honestly think We as a nation just like to complain, You only have to look at the " I'm too hot in summer and too cold in winter comments lol.

Can anybody think of anymore complaints we as Brits make for the sake of it.
By the way I am only doing this because I'm bored and ready to go back to work

Probably why the Aussie's call us Whinging Poms
The aussies are the biggest losers in the world, when they are winning they let everyone know by putting up pictures on billboards and on the side of busus for examples, when they are losing or have been beaten they always call cheat, they are the worst lot to complain about anything, they are even worse than the sweaty socks for thinking everyone is against them lmfao.

We moan about: the weather. the price of things, Virgin Media, TV repeats. Terrorists. David Cameron. the Royals. potholes. trafic jams. Yes I would say we are a nation of moaners,

My biggest gripe is with Vodafone - they take your money, provide a truely terrible coverage, expect you to deal with their dreadful OFF SHORE call centre and don't pay the relevant tax in the UK.

If I wasn't dependent on their Sure Signal at home I would have ditched them long ago.

The UK mobile network should be provided by a collaboration of the companies, so we can ALL benefit from ALL the masts - then we could go for value. As it stands we often make buying decisions based on the coverage at our homes!

...Then you are going to LOVE this...

I have been with the above for 23 years, same number (bar code allocation additions) but the original contract was taken out by a mate of mine, for two phones, one for him,one for his missus. She didn't want it...so i took it...

Have always paid the bill, from my address, and have had various codes,to allow account access.

My pal emigrated to Canada,8 years back,Vodafone accepted this, and never forced a contract name change...

So...they have a contract, that is in a name of a person, they know is never coming back...

The yearly or so conversation, usually ends with "...you cannot have/do/etc,because you owe x,y or z..."

There is then a break of a few hours, and someone checks the duration of service, together with their futile legal angle..."Hello sir...how can we help?..."

I have spoke to countless minions at various Voda outlets, and this seems to be quite unique...still...23 years is a fair run...

I generally moan about EE, the worst service I have ever came across, signal is constantly poor and cuts off more than not, still with them after about 10 years though, that's how lazy I am to change provider........also it gives me something to moan about!

I've been with Vodafone for 16 years, when my contract ends in a year though, I'm off. My phone went in for a repair back in August, they then proceeded to lose it, and after being given excuse after excuse, and 4 promises that a phone was being sent to me, I finally got a replacement back nearly 4 weeks later.

Back to moaning, I'm moaning that I've not been able to work since November 3rd and I'm still getting worse.

I was with EE, formerly freeserve then orange (that's how long I was with them!) But the service got really bad.
I phoned to tell them I was not renewing and they just said OK, bye then lol :)
I get a good deal on Tesco because my misses works there and it's 4G too.

Im with EE and its a case of making the best of a bad situation. I think they are all bad (i've been about virtually all of them over the years) But because i live near London, No one matches EE for the signal and signal speed.
I got a HTC One when they first came out. Was lucky to pick one up on day of release with EE. 2 days later it started overheating and shutting down until it was just unusable. So i phoned them and their extremely unhelpful answer was "just visit local stores till you find one that has one in stock". Well being a new phone, there wasn't any. In the end i phoned their god awful "helpline" to demand a replacement phone. Basically told no you will have to wait 3 weeks till we have one in stock in the warehouse so i told them ok i want to cancel my contract.
"oh no you cant do that sir without paying for the whole contract"
Several escalations through managers later and i got to one who was down right rude who laughed at me when i told him i was cancelling. He basically told me ok we will see you in court then. He shut up quite quickly though when i pointed out the service they had sold me was not fit for purpose and that they wouldn't have a hope in hells chance in court. He put me through to the cancellations department who tried convincing me to stay (getting very angry by this point). All i wanted was a working phone!
The lady then says "oh how lucky is that, we have just had one come into stock in the warehouse". Oh yes, how convenient......
Useless company with awful service but i haven't found any better yet!

I moan about water and energy saving devices that don't work.
Bring back 4 gallon toilets cysterns, that can handle heavy festive loads without the drudgery of wasting time waiting to give it a second flush !
Reminds me of the time we went on a canal boat and we filled the waste storage in 2 days when designed to easily last a week. Phoned the operator and he said in his Yorkshire twang 'tried poking it wi' stick?'

So, have you tried poking it with a stick?
