Have a look in your inbox it seems to have gone to all installers, so whichever email address you have registered with mcs it'll have gone to that. Basically because the government has cut EST's funding they're thinking it'll be a good idea to sting us to provide their "expertise".

I track ALL visitors to my website, I know exactly which companies are visiting and when and get a daily report of which company, which pages, how long, and the company's full contact details :smug:

It was interesting to see that the EST actually visited my site (I also hyperlink back to them) less than 48 hours before I got their second email extending the date for return of the survey!

Tracking is easy, visitor stats are easy, visitor navigation tracking is easy (all of the above free - google analytics with goals), finding out which keywords they used to find your site is easy, you just need a degree in SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and google analytics or also run your own SEO company :smug:

Actualy taking it that step further to find out which company actually visited and cross link to their contact deatils automatically takes a lot more work and a bit of software, only costs about £200 / month. Whoa HOW MUCH? Your thinking ... now convert that into sold systems and that works out a *** sight cheaper than buying leads from enquiry / quote sites. - You know WHAT they are interested in and WHY they visited your site.

I know who what and where using statcounter for free. I can see your location, your browser, the screen resolution, I can see the when and where you came from before visiting my site, where and when you left. the search terms you used. And a whole heap more besides for free. It is easy track the keywords of competitors and much much more. One on here has a site linking to themselves called the free solar pv guide ;-)

I think I'm missing something. I have google analytics sent through to me every week but it doesn't show me specifically who's been looking at my site - I love all the research stuff how do I get it to identify who's been looking at my site using google analytics?
