Not bad at all, thanks. Already put in an order for an Armeg set, so will have to we how they pan out.

I can't take them seriously if they throw in a contact neon! It puts me right off! Maybe it's just me!

Hi Phil: Cheers for the reply mate, wish ours would do an offer like that. Klein are supposed to be top quality kit, when I went in to get a price they reckoned a pair of Lineman's & 2 screwdrivers I was looking at well over £100. I don't like the look of them that much :(

Every CEF had that promo on. The normal price is £36.75 plus Vat.

The way I looked at it was I tend to wear out tips on Pz before losing. So now all I need to do is take them back for replacement lol

I don't like their pliers, and their side cutters are the same. Big and clumsy feeling. I prefer Knipex 200mm pliers and tend to use shears more than snips these days.

Recently bought a pair of klein snips. Seriously impressed. Seem like large jaws from behind but really they're tiny. Sharp though. Nice point for stripping flex.
Got a volt pen but that's been washed in my pants less than a week of owning it.
RIP
My flukes been washed 3 times still going strong.

I went for Knipex pliers, shears, wire cutters and a set of their installation pliers. The cutters and installation pliers are (aside from screwdrivers) the most commonly used items in my tool bag.

Yeah knipex 8" cutters are great, had a pair for years. Love their cable croppers as well. When I wore my 6" cutters out, I bought a pair of nws cutters & they're cracking. Well made & ultra sharp nice tips on them too, so they're also handy for alarm & telephone wiring.

That sounds like the set I have. £39.95 plus Vat, I think their volt pen is better than my fluke, does 12v too. This months promo is the pliers and the volt pen for same price I think.

The snips are normally £45 plus Vat on their own I think.

Ah rubbish vde snips. Can't even handle a few live cables! Oops.
Joking aside I was looking for some decently priced knipex snips to replace my last ones.

Wasn't all me who blew the snips though! Paul M had a go as well(in front of a client:D)

Yeah their volt pen is good. Really keen.
Shame they can't handle a bit of soapy water!
