Armour cable exterior

Hi Guys help required

I am a member of the shed organisation and we are moving into a new building for use as a workshop (240v power tools only). The cable supply is run under ground and surfaces 15ft from the building and run along an exterior wall. Before testing the circuit and reinstating power to the distribution box we would like to know is having armored cable on a wall acceptable.

yes. as long as it's installed and supported correctly, no problem. you just need to test the cable before energising. check ccc and volt drop, and correct rating of the ocpd.
