I need to do something about the insulation in my loft which lays straight on top of my bathroom spotlights.
It's been like this it seems for the last 12 years and we had no idea but now we know!

WHich do you think is the best option?
Simply moving the insulation from where the lights are?
Or buying a fire, vapour and thermal seal cap like from here Downlight Intumescent Fire Covers

Seen a guy using metal boiler flue ducting and it seemed to work bathroom was insulated and the heat from the fitting went up the flue so to speak.

Meant to add yep I know it not kosha but it works and it makes you think why they made open fittings anyway
