Determine the impedance of this combination.

I make it 16.5ohms

2 x 3.142 x 50Hz x 0.05 Henries = 15.71 ohms (Inductive Reactance) Squared =246.8041.

Resistance 5 ohms. squared = 25.


Square root of 25 + 246.8041 = 16.48 ohms.

theres a download you can use. it's called "type mathematical symbols online". if using firefox. open the tab, then click on a symbol and copy/paste.
