Hi,
Solar panels fitted by PV Solar UK 2011. They are now showing as in liquidation. They Inverter replaced last year free of charge, within guarantee period. Current one has FF80 fault not displaying time-date-production total every 20 seconds. No lights on inverter panel at the bottom. I switched off/on the 3 isolator switches, still dead.

Can anyone advise the new company name of PV Solar, still operating in Scotland?
Can anyone recommend a solar specialist electrician N Norfolk/Cromer Gt Yarmouth Norwich Aylsham area. Suspect Inverter is dead and new one at cost to me.
Thanks. Chris. 19.9.17

Depending upon when it was bought / who from, it will either have a 5 year warranty (they have an exchange programme) or yoohoo a 10 year warranty.

Give ABB a call on +44 1903 823323 and they'll sort you.

It is best to contact ABB service team directly on 0800 0232341 or 01903 823323 to report the fault directly. They will need the SN number and WK code from the label on the right hand side of the unit. Once they have this they will set up a case for the replacement and this will be organized via their own service partner network.

You can also email them on [email protected]

Thanks Grumpycat,
ABB helped me out last week, very efficient, their recommended electrical firm HowPow, Retford, Nottinghamshire equally efficient and I was sorted out within 48 hours of send ABB the failed unit details. Chris.

Glad you got it sorted out Chris. ABB are usually very helpful to any customers who have an in warranty unit. If out of warranty they do have options too and helped me out.
