can any one recommend a set of automatic wire strippers that will do various T&E and singles without nicking the coper?

I have the CK automatic ones and love them. Don't use them for twin but they save me loads of time when making up flex leads for downlights etc.

I do have a pair of these Knipex in my bag that have never been used:

ck croppers save me loads of time, especially on singles. I use nws side cutters for twin n earth for board changes, as they cut the outer sheath clean and straight.

Had automatic wire strippers, never used and gave them away.

i find these perfect from RS 157-0875

strip wire from .2mm - 6mm

there no adjusting or anything just pop the cable in and away you go.

I use a pair of these as well and find them very easy to use, especially in tight spaces. Not so good on 4 or 6mm cable though as it is a bit of a faf to get the cable into the jaws so revert to snips in those cases.

I'd have thought this is way more risky in catching the inner insulation and definitely slower
