10mm single tails in cavity installed willy nilly with separate 4mm earth and no mech protection. They pass behind two door framesand are installed on a slant from floor to ceiling wise. I cannot guarantee the integrity or condition of them but knowing they exist and a new CU is to be installed, id change them over anyway as rule of thumb. Every board I fit gets shiny tails especially if rewire. Why have a nasty two colour label for sake of not swapping tails on a full new install. Anyway back on track, this isn't a rewire but CU upgrade and earthing. I just think for what it is length and hassle wise, it should be done. The 4mm main earth on PME with no main bonding aint great although no signs of overheating. I wouldn't be connecting a 4mm main earth tail into a split load 17th board but that's me
sorry...in response to Murdoch. thanks for the input though mate
