Discuss B&Q approved electrician in the Business Related area at ElectriciansForums.net

Only a guess, maybe speak to the project section mand ask if you can be added to their approved contractors list, (assuming one exists).

B&Q only give their works out as complete projects ie the whole kitchen including gas and electric works, they have a system for the kitchen fitters elctricians to submit certificates that goes through NAPIT

Wickes it seems contract the work out and I am having difficultys trying to find out how to get on their books

Personally I wouldn't bother.

Been working for a subby kitchen fitter working for Kutchen haus. They never allow enough cash to do a decent job. The amount of jobs i have been to kitchens all ripped out and they want you to start moving adding sockets and there no bonding in place. This is after they do a survey before pricing for the job!

One of their favourites is socket/fcus in cupboards and sometimes even cooker isolators.

Makes me laugh though, customer stood there not even knowing that they were having any electrical works done
