Bad Luck or what....?

Today I received a call from the letting agents that we subby for that they have gone bust and need keys back.....2 of which I needed for my niceic assessment next Thursday....I spoke to nic today they said to find two more installs.....all my work has been on these houses so explained that I dont have any they asked if I could find two I said yes but they won't be signed off by labc due to short space, then explained napit will let you use a example and sign it off when you pass, so I might swell join them
Instead of £290 re visit fee, and two lots of £280 for labc compared to napits £580 fee! she changed her tune and said I will just be assessed on PART P and that the labc issue won't come into it on this special occassion.

So my issue now is to find two jobs before Tuesday, my mate has said he is doing up a house at the moment and I could use this, only one snag all I can do is the cellar so I would be showing him a split load board in the cellar one side will be a light.....yes a single light protected by a rcd and the other side I will do a radial circuit of say 3/4 socket points.......plus the board with only two circuits and obv bonding to gas and water mains......this is a notifiable job so do you think this one would be ok? Even though the rest of the house is still getting developed and more circuits will be added at a later date? I also start a rewire on Monday my assesment is Thursday so bad timing.

Thieving robbing.... I feel for you mate. You must be like me, just when you think everything is going well; Mr Murphy drops another load in your lap.

Gear box going on my van was the icing on the cake for me today.

I did ask about this cellar and she could not give me a straight answer, she just said as long as it is notifiable work under part p. So I guess this is no matter if it's a new cu with two new circuits do you think?

Find out through the letting agency who owns the properties as some important errr works errr needs to be finished off, if you know what I mean. There will be no harm in contacting the owners and explaining the situation.

It was the bank who set up a company called "the fund" who did but there is a new letting agent but as we arnt contractors for them were not allowed the keys....but as you say maybe I could say that I need to certify the electrics or something
