Hi, Stevie here. This is my first post and wasn't sure where to put it! Let me know if I should add this to an existing thread. I wanted to see some of the shockers people have come across.

Here's the Consumer unit(s) for a 1 bedroom flat which could be found above a suspended ceiling in the kitchen.

there is a thread called dodgy pics or something. has some similar pics.

I am not convinced I can see any bypassed meters, but I need to get my head around what is in the underside of that Series 7. I see what look like red and blue XLPE insulated 6mm, like two cores of an SWA, although they appear emerge from the end of a conduit very top right of the pic. Unless someone has spotted something I haven't, like a real service cable diverted into the consumer's equipment, surely these are the source of energy here? How and why someone might have thought that acceptable is a different matter!

You are right on a quick glance it looks as if the feed to the series 7 comes from the isolator on the top right, but looking closer it does come in from elsewhere and there appears to be a green cable as well possibly as an earth..
6mm² in free air and if the cut out is rated to 90°C could just manage 60A!!
