Bal**ed up on first fix. Any solutions please.

Done first fix on lighting.

customer wants a neon on light switch to show light is on in room to remind to turn of.

unfortunately I’ve done a wiring centre job.

permanent L &N to wiring centre.

One twin and earth to light point

and one twin and earth to switch.

cannot instal extra cables at this point.

can I put a neon in parallel when the switch is activated?

since its for public, I would not risk LAP, inferiour to even ebay specials. But movement sensors are a reasonable idea

Supply them with door wedges this way they can use their flaming eye and see the light is on, make you wonder how some people make it through the day..


Please tell me this isn't some care home for disadvantaged kid?

there are several push button switches, some of them support both on and off. (I think elkay used to do something like that)

Switch locator light won't be bright enough to be a "light left on" indicator.
Also, I'd be wary of any light that can switch itself off in a large storage area, where someone might be on the top of a stepladder at the time.
