did I break any rules do not think so here are his comments below

your finagling to spam this forum has now cost you your membership - we've already had to change the rules to counter your blatant self-publicity - to now bleat about us "editing" your sig is just "pushing your luck" too far - from what I can see you are now offering a similar scam to others of gaining business which you'll then flog on to others - sorry chum, you're not using this forum to do so

not read there rules

my signature was

I love solar panels

changed that to

green deal & energy management solutions

then they swaped it to nothing without telling me or telling me why and remove my image (same as one I am using here)

then I had a moan at them

then they barred me .

they dont like any mention of other companys on that forum even tho I only mentioned my company in my profile.

which you can clearly do or else there would be no boxes there to fill out.

i know gavin uses that forum and I sure he know them better than me but i sure gavin has some link in his signautre ??? correct me if I am wrong

they did change the rules on advertising via sigs a few months back.

At the end of the day they're a commercial company, and are a bit twitchy about people using their forum to poach business from them, or just to associate them with stuff.

We sort of skirt the edges of what's acceptable, but have bought some kit from them over the years, and I reckon I answer as many tech queries for them as their paid for office staff, or a fair number anyway.

yes you do contribute to the forum alot , I was also doing simlair but I not as much as some ,
yes I agree with you that they are commericial company.

but its not as if i shouted ''come buy from me '' etc etc .

I can not see that breaking rules , anyway me and martin got off on the wrong foot in the first place , but they are out of order banning me , Its not as if I have had cumtom from that site , same as this one really , theres nobody looking for solar at the moment I could summit 1000's post a day a get nothing , But I use the forums to learn and keep upto date with whats going on in the pv world .....

also ''green deal adviser'' with no links to any sites I would not say that is ....

if they changed rules nobody told me ........

I'm afraid everyone finds out eventually that Martin and Ivan are not the nicest of blokes and that anything that may take any work away from navitron is not to be tolerated no matter how helpful you may have been on the forum. You could try and have a word with Steve knight at navitron he's a decent bloke.

Mep I've just been on the navitron forum and you're not showing up as someone who has been banned or having left of their own accord. In the early days no one had a signature that must have been a fairly recent thing.

Some forums only allow links to websites from their forum sponsors. I've been a s/mod on a forum that was very strict on this :thumbsup

It's a little silly not to have a browse through the forum posting rules though

but I doubt editing profile info is breaking any rules.

it seems to me they thought I was a lead gen compnay from my new website ? why I dont know just somthing martin said which didnt make sense.
