Bathroom Fan...

Hey all, just been round fixing a mates fan in bathroom (was just a loose connection). whilst there I noticed the downlights in bathroom were 12v with seperate transfromer for each but the fan was 240v. The circuit was protected by an rcbo. Was just wondering if the fan should be 12v or is it ok being 240v seen as it's protected by rcbo? The fan is in zone 2.

That's me swotted up now. The fan was ok as it was the correct Ip rating required for the area. Cheers for the help though.
