Hi all,

after some opinions,

Installing a supply for a power shower, feed is coming from a bedroom adjacent to bathroom with use of RCD fused connection unit as property has no RCD.

obviously advised about RCD protection throughout etc, however it's a rental so it's probably not going to happen.

now my work would comply as RCD protected, but all circuits of the location should have RCD protection or supp bonding, in this case the light in bathroom. As my work hasn't touched this circuit would you put it down as a advisory or should it be compulsory for the job?

Opinion please...

you are only responsible for the circuit/work you have done. fill in your EIC/MWC and comment on the rest in the comments/advisory section.

I would say that the works to are carrying out is only classed as a minor work so I would note about lack of RCD protection to the lighting circuit in existing installation comments on my MWC. Don't take my word though, don't have regs or OSG to hand. Is there nothing in the special locations section?
