The last 10 minutes is what you want. The question was about the government being the 'greenest ever'. Chris Huhne was on the panel and got some stick regarding the FIT changes.

I will be shopping at Sainsbury's. Huhne Proved himself to be completely out of touch. At one point he talked about the need for consultations to run their full course of 12 weeks and how important they were. Then he is spouting the usual misinformation about FITs.

If he wasn't a Lib-Dem, would he ever have been a Minister?

I disagree with almost everything the bloke says - mainly because most of it is factually incorrect.

I'm sick to death of listening to the man now. Coming onto the TV every day, telling us how great he is for cutting fuel poverty. I have to say, I am delighted that my 6 weeks of Hell is going to save the average householder £27 a year by 2020 (lies on this scale are far more immoral and damaging than swindling your expenses).

No wonder that his missus hates him. Frankly, the wonder is how he managed to pull her in the first place with his Tolkieneque appareance, gormless expressions and monotone observations. Birds would fall stunned from the sky if you dared open a window while he was in full swing. I honestly could not be any less impressed with the man.

I laughed when I heard him going on about not pre-empting consulations and wished for a question on PV - so was over the moon when Justin King took him to task on exactly that point! Unfortunately, I think the whole issue was lost on some of the panel and many of the audience.

Note that Chris Huhne emphasised the governments support for larger scale renewable projects - this ties in with what others have said here.

Unfortunately I can't see any backdown on the December change - we should be lobbying hard and smart for a sensible approach to the green deal / EPC issue though.

What tickled me was David Dimbleby not knowing what photovoltaics meant...

Justin King/Sainsbury's have long supported environmental issues. It's not surprising that he knew so much about pv, they plough a significant amount of money into the Ashden Awards every year which rewards innovative approaches to environmental solutions.

You can forgive DD for his apparent ignorance in technology when he stopped Huhne answering after the audience member told him to think about the 300 people he would be making redundant...
