Hi All

I have purchased a Hive thermostat/hub and am looking for a little advise.

Currently wired to a BDR91 as below on a Baxi Duo-Tec Combi 24.

I am ok with permanent live & neutral but just need advise on the other 2 wires.
The green/yellow wire in "B" has been wrapped with red tape.

Can anyone advise how to wire into the hive as below please?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Love the fact that the post about using an earth conductor as live switch wire is completely ignored because it was not wanted the OP wanted to hear!

show me in the regs where it says you cant use an earth or a neutral colour core aslong as you mark it with the appropriate sleeve /colour

twin and earth its a no no

Hi. Thanks for your input. Can you give details how to rewire with a 5 core cable on my boiler please ?

I’m afraid if you do not know you should be getting an electrician. Sorry to be so blunt, but electricity is dangerous and so many people that come on here asking for advice on how to install Hive or similar do not seem to realise this.

I'm guessing you don't know then otherwise I'm sure you would be only to happy to help (said no one ever) this help forum is for help not negative comments from grumpy old men.

How can anyone give advice on how to do a job without seeing what is involved.
People come on here getting advice for free.
You have been told how you can make it work but myself and leesparkykent have both advised you that what you have is incorrect.
I then am on the receiving end of derogatory comments because you did not get what you wanted to hear.
