Hi all,i completed a 5 year apprenticeship in the quarrying industry but left that behind to become self employed as the money was crap. ive been carrying out installation and maintenance work in industrial and commercial locations as a subbie for about 5 years.
i recently completed the eal level 2 cert for domestic electrical installers which included 2392-10 and 2382-10 basically to give me some testing experience
im looking for some advice on my next step for being able to self certify my own work
Do i apply and register with elecsa/napit and in the mean time do a job such as a db change and socket addition for the assessment?
im looking at test equipment at the moment and already have all the relavent publications, liability insurance etc
any pointers would be great
