Hi all I've been an electrician for about 8 years and I've been getting paid approved rates for a few years but now I actually want it on my card. How would I go about getting it on? Would I need to go and sit a course or if my work wrote a letter saying I've been doing testing etc for years could I get it put on.
Thanks in advance

Got my aca in 2 weeks time and im bricking myself. Can anyone tell me if the inspecting and testing is all done in the domestic booth, as i have never done testing on industrial stuff. Also the fault finding before we start do we need to do safe isolation procedure and stuff

Sparky16 av got mine in under 3 weeks and am the same. In ir test doing board as a whole, do you take out flying leads in rcbo and test through it or turn off breaker and test it own its own from secondary side, this is troubling me. Keep me posted on how ur getin on, things i should look out for, cheers.

How are you's getting on with the project lads?

I'm just starting it with Perth college distance learning, looks like a lot of work.

Would appreciate a few wise words to get me started, I don't want the answers just how to do a few of the equations as I have forgot how to do it properly.
