Becoming An Electrician

Hi guys

I've been considering for a long time now whether or not I want to become an electrician.

I have contacted the local college and im not sure what course I should enroll onto. I have no previous experience so I'm a complete novice.

What courses do you guys recommend I do in becoming a qualified electrician?

I would like to become self-employed in the future but I just want to get my foot in the door and build up my experience.

the 2357 sound more appealing than the 2365 as it sound less hassle.

Should I just email companies and ask if there is apprenticeships for the 2357?

I did the 2330 off my own back because I couldn't find a company to take me on (this was pre 2365 and 2357)

when I did some work experience for a guy, it turned out one of his friends who owns another firm was looking to take on an apprentice

im not sure, when I started I did mine through jtl and they sorted everything.
