If your a weed like me try and nick a 4ft scaff tube from somewhere and use it as extension bar on the handle, stops you from just doing press ups on the bar :joker:

there was a guy at college he tried to bend a bit off tube but it kept lifting him of floor:D

he needed to jump up then hang onto it to move it
 
You have to remember to put the conduit in the bender the right way (ie the bend would be wrong if your measurment was from the wrong direction). You measure to back of bend and put the measured end in from opposite side of bending handle. Take a set square and hold the pipe in place possibly using the handle to keep it in place put the square on the pipe with the edge on the measured mark. put the pipe with the set square to the" former" face, bend conduit and it should be" right on".
this sounded right when I typed it so hope it comes over right.

As a foot note I worked with a sparky years ago who could take a full length of conduit and bend it into the shape of a toboggon with a running thread on one end and was able to get it so right that he could couple both ends together. I had one try and failed lol.

surely you guys measure it with piece of tube and set square if you are unsure on the bender?
