Still got a pump action yankee for screws I still use occasionally...

They are bloody awful things, I only say that because I once trapped the skin of my hand in one, and anybody who as ever done the same would agree it stings a bit.
But yes they are a good driver if used properly.
 
Now that is a blast from the past! do you keep all your bits for it in a metal tobacco tin? (preferably golden virginia)


I just use it with a Pozi bit in it all the time , find its good when fixing trunking up , as you can drill when on steps and then keep the yankee in a long side pocket , I still have got some rawlplug jumpers knocking around I used to use with a lump hammer from the 70s along with the brace and bit for joists , still got some off the old tapered bits around somewhere....
