hey guys,

Been doing lots and lots of metal work like ladder rack, basket and cable tray. now really need some good spanner ratchets you know the ones with the ratchet on one side and normal spanner on the other.

im an apprentice so would like good quality/ moderate but off course done want to break the bank.

mostly been using 17mm and 15mm so would like them two for now...any good ones out there on the internet or elsewhere?

I used to have the channel sockets.....
Very good until someone took a liking to them and they disappeared!

As it sounds like you have a limited budget have a look at box spanners (tubular spanners) very good for unistrut and for tightening up motors terminals etc with long studs,

Best make I've used are "Unior", proper forged steel will last forever! instead of formed tube and you can get any metric size individually,

So just get the sizes you use most, it can be useful to have two of each size for when you can't get a spanner in.

ie 17mm is about ÂŁ6 tommy bar around ÂŁ3
