What's your favourite tape measure and why? I've just had my bahco stainless steel reversible pinched by some scroat, and I can't find anywhere to buy a new one! So I was looking about and all I can see is fatmax this and fatmax that!

I have the same bahco tape got it from B&Q warehouse.

My daughter thought it would be funny to buy me a bright pink one. Upsides are I'll never lose it, no one will ever steal it. Downsides, it's a piece of crap because the rivets holding the end clip on are as loose as a bucket of water so it's hard to get an accurate measure over long distances and people laugh at me for having it.
No jokes about pink tools or pink things in toolboxes guys please, it would just be too obvious.

Ignore the lads on site....nothing wrong with a pink tape measure. :)
I thought all tape measures had loose rivits on the end clip (tang) so it floats the same distance as its thickness making inside and outside measurements give the same reading.

iv'e got the fat max 15m. unfortunately, it's got a nick aroung the 2ft mark. manages to cut my finger at least once a week.next time, it's in the bin and i'll get a cheap b&q one.

Many moons ago,I dropped my brand spanking new stanley tape down a cavity
My attitude since. its better to drop a 50 pence market tape down there
