best tools for chasing out

Think it'll do a 45x45mm chase, but never had it set that deep yet

Whats the scutch attachment like? Would you recommend it or does it do alot of damage? Do you still need to pepper the track with holes using it?

the attachment is great. i guess they could do damage if not used properly but i have never had an issue with it. saves the hands a lot of grief after lump hammers and them engineering bricks

scutch chisels for me mate , nothing better on the market , the only tool i know that can get through solid reds

AmpDavid which model/make of chaser are you using? Also in the market for picking one of these up myself but for the amount of use it will get can't really justify the hilti.

Don't think any of the other brands such as Makita, Bosch etc can match it for spec. Thats why I got it, like you say, Hilti are serious dosh!
