best way to control heating at holiday home, appr

From my understanding the Hive will only do 2 additional zones on top of the usual heating and hot water, so I don't think this would be enough for the OP?

Hive 2 can have 3 zones I think plus hot water. Only thing is you have to buy it from and be installed by BG.....

Not any more, they've opened it up so anyone can buy it.
I believe screwfix and wicked are selling them now.
I've fitted a few of them now for a local plumber

Oh didn't know that, ill have a look at prices. I always wondered why they gave BG the monopoly....

It's a BG product, you still have to register it with BG to get the Internet part to work, but that's free as far as I know
