Best ways to draw through flex conduit

From a support point of view?

Struggling to understand why it's frowned upon?

Its just difficult to fish through at length due to the way it moves. Smooth bore types are easier but the cheap plastic stuff is ridged inside and can be a right pain.

Pull a draw tape in and pull a piece of wire through before you install it.
Probably have the same problem getting a draw tape through before you install the conduit, rigid would have been best, ease of install, more professional job, the list goes on.

Does flex make it an "unproper" job?

It's ran through quite a few studs and fixed in numerous positions.

The cable has enough mechanical protection and the conduit had enough support. Is there something I'm missing?
Don't think anyone is saying it's an un proper job Gaz, just that 5 meters is a rather long run for flexi conduit, can understand why you wanted to make use of the flexi you had left over from another job, just not in this occasion imo, it it' twin and earth why use tube anyway?

I was just curious as to why flex is considered not to be suitable. I've seen I used many times in different situations. I could have just ran the t+e in the stud walls. However it's a conservatory so I decided it may offer just a little bit more support and control over future alterations, plus I think it looks better than just throwing t+e in.

I was probably a little OTT with the measurements. It's. 3.5mx3.5m conservatory. It only runs up one wall and around 1 corner of the conservatory. It's for a supply for s floodlight. Probably 3.5m at best.

Would have the same difficulty as doing it after the tube was installed.
Why the disagree? seems quite a simple conclsion doing it befre the tube is installed would be just as difficult as doing it after the tube is installed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still no surprise really.
