bit advice please

hi im currently getting registered with napit anyway recently done a job for a customer who was very happy with our work, so on completing she asked if we would test her new kitchen install which was done by a nic registered company, on checking found metal boxes no grommets metal boxes drilled through the back to allow single cores to pass through no grommets again loads of copper showing on connections the list goes on but my question is what do you do explain all to the customer who is having a big dispute at the moment with the company who done the install, or put right and say no more.Thing is dont really want to make enemys when just starting out? thanks alot

I wouldnt get involved.

If there is a dispute, then you could be causing more grief, by putting it right or reporting on it.

All IMHO.

No grommets in metal boxes is not on it's own a defect....it only becomes a defect if there is damage to the cables as a result. Of course such things suggest a rubbish job but are not necessarily breaches of the regulations.
