Anyone else come across this before on a domestic property ?

Just working on some new builds.....

And on one of the properties as the ground floor is mostly open plan we've got to wire from the nearest smoke to a unit under the kitchen sink -----> if the alarm is then triggered it then actuates somehow and the sink taps spray a mist.Nice surprise when they have a false alarm :ihih:

Just to add to this, this has only now been decided by the architect once its all been cellotexed/boarded/ skimmed, and have to add an extra 4 x smokes on the first floor for each room (no loft, vaulted ceilings ! sorry my plasterer might be quite a few 4" holes everywhere)

Just found a video of it....

never seen that before....have come across mist systems for houses before but they were ceiling mounted, what happens with a water mist system if there's a fryer fire, assuming they actually think anybody is still frying anything, which they obviously don't think anybody does anymore...

Obviously don't want to press the test button in that place every week. Or have a mrs like mine that can burn a cup of tea.
