The most likely thing is water ingress or condensation. The web site tells us nothing. Did you install it? If so go back and check for water damage.
I’m sorry but these kits should not be sold!

it hasnt rained much over the last few weeks since its been installed, working fine. today it has been tipping down and its stopped working. so makes sense that if water getting in would cause it to trip then very high probability this is what has happened.

If the rcd is tripping it is an indicator of an earth fault. It is possible that the cable could be dried out and then the dodgy enclosure resealed if it is an above ground fault and that is what it is. Cable can be dried out, but the problem could be finding the fault without proper testing equipment. The amount of moisture needed to cause the current leakage might not be detectable to a visual inspection.

still not working, despite no more rain and sunshine today

i have done some tests......i have unconnected the pump and filter and it still trips

if i plug a different appliance into the rcd ot works ok. does this info help pin down the problem??
