Without seeing the inside to see what's blown it's almost impossible to diagnose. The parts would probably not be available to buy. I would suggest that you ask at a De'Longhi dealer about repairs.
Take off the top part that has the bean hopper. There is a clutch mechanism on the grinder that should prevent the motor from get jammed. If there is something jammed in the grinder the clutch bit slips and can stink. Still best to get a picture of the inside with the cover off.
