Surely as long as the supplementary bonding is there between pipework and circuits with Cpc's then I can't see a problem with no cpc in the lighting?

The title of the post is a bit confusing with the text saying your about to carry out a inspection!

Graham IMO I would carry out the PIR first and identify exactally what faults exist at the premises !

That is if it is a PIR your about to do!

So what if an earth fault develops on the class I fitting with no cpc?...

DO The PIR then assess the condition of installation as you should be competant to do bear in mind the age of property and regs in force at that time OR are you of the "5 week everything was wired last week and requires an RCD" brigade?

Do the EICR list the defects if any agree a cost to fix them then sign off the EICR as satisfactory that what I do but if I get no thanks it an unsatisfactory and a invoice for the EICR
