Hi. The combustion box on my mums Baxi solo boiler has a corroded screw. It is old and the manufacturer hasnt got a replacement. Would this affect the working of the boiler? And could we just fix it another way? A picture will stay on the wall with a 6" nail as well as the proper screw is my reasoning! Thanks in advance. Jen.

This is quite a specialised area, you could also try another of our family of forums for advice....the plumbing forum. There may even be a Baxi engineer on there.
