Current job ground to a halt for a few days so i thought i'd share the tediousness with an equally boring
photo dairy lol.
luckily im still on full pay :-D

the project ;

3 gas fired cremation incinerators in a converted church - conveyor belt of death i call it lol.



old mains , piece of junk.


new mains , shiney and modern.


new 250A dno service , the bodged tempory earthing was on the house


induction motor fans , stacked , with air bafflers on top.


Rear chimney exhaust stacks , 800 deg C inside.


inside burner chamber , 1800 Deg C , even the coffin handles are vapourised at that temp lol.


Funky tray work all over the place , not completely intergrated with building systems yet.


Was considering energizing the empty tray runs with 12v DC and racing scalectrix cars around the building lol

The positive would be that you don't even need the breathing and walking bits,they carry you there in a wooden contraption, all nicely cooched up and relaxed

doesnt always go upto 1800 , 1500 usually does the job , with 3 layers of fire brick for the inner lining.
the only thing left ?
steel kneecaps and hips ;-)
the heat above the stack is immense as working conditions go lol.

Nice bit of interest Biff and we will ALL benefit from its function come the day...Did think during last crem visit that some eco-boffin should re-direct and use waste heat from said burners to heat service hall,it was ruddy freezing and the deceased could have helped us out comfort wise after all the nice things we made up about him...

hey remember a long time ago now you married her, she said yes and you stuck a ring on her finger she decided to make her lot with you instead of looking for a sports personality or a rich business dude.....or pepe the spanish waiter......or even manhoor the turkish dude from that holiday....what would you be saying if you found her on the floor?


right that's it get yerself onto moonpig.com or Marks and Spencer website and get ordering something nice that she won't expect....or interflora......
What about a visit to the pictures? check out Cineworld website or Odeon.....or the local pictures if you live outside a city....on you go....she won't expect it...
