Borrowed CPC for water bonding

I've come across a house whereby the redundant immersion heater circuit (15A) has had it's CPC repurposed as a means of bonding the incoming water supply in the same cupboard. Irrespective of the CPC being undersized is this, in theory, allowed or must the earth bonding be clearly identifiable? Of course, this would make sense as you don't want someone disconnecting an old circuit and taking out the bond. Is there a specific reg at play here?

Is it actually a main bond, or a point from which the pipe work is supplementary bonded?

the bonding conuctor for the water should go directly back to the MET either in the Cu earth bar or a separate MET, if the esrthing is PME the min. size is 10.mm

It is the main bond.
