Bosch Easycontrol inital password / user name

Hi,
I have just moved into a Flat that has the Bosch Easycontrol. Even though I do a reset it keeps asking for an intital installation username / password. How do I reset this?

Have you looked for the manual online?

I’ve found this page…..

I have tried that, but the app still asks for the inital installer password..!

thats the only instructions i can find... no mention of installer password.
Might have to contact bosch themselves.... they might be able to factory reset remotely
Theres mention of a QR code.... but that might have been on the original box.


Have you tried "password" as a password?

Is it asking for WiFi network password or are you beyond that point?
Is it asking you to create a password?
Does the controller work in Off Line Mode?

Bosch explained how to do the reset and I am now back in control of the heating.
