hi guys & girls, i know this will have been covered before but i cant find the answer im looking for, i need a cordless sds for putting in some 10mm holes for signs to be bolted down, my company wont spend a fortune but they will pay the ÂŁ350. for a 36v bosh but its only a 1.3ah it does come with 2 batts though anybody have this model? and how do you find the life of the batts? im not looking to hammer 100's of 10mm holes all day everyday but i would need a dozen or so a day it would mainly be used for red plugs

normally use makita combi for plugs.

if i need to drill deep ill grab sds drill though as combi bit is only 3" long or so.

if your not using it for chasing an 18v is fine for 10mm holes.

was drilling 16mm into concrete the other day and it was fine (makita 18v sds)

stick to the one you have batteries for. if you have any 18v makita gear you can use two of the batteries in the 36v sds drill using there adapter.

the bosch 36v sds is good, you can use it all day for chasing and abuse it and it will keep on running.

better to go for the 3amp batteries though. the 1.5 should be ok though

i have a makita drill but its an old ni cad jobbie, also have a corded bosh sds thats great just not portable lol, i need the sds cordless mainly to bang some 10-12 mm holes in concrete ill be doing no chasing with it my corded will do that, makita is an option but there budget is ÂŁ350 maybe get a better deal going 18v makita
