Yeah that's true, they go into the qualification stages though - so you'd be hoping for the hungarian 5th placed instead of say athletico madrid lol

To be fair, bradford were the better team. We need to buy players because playing that so called team we have at the momemt isn't working. Were shocking at times.

a few years ago, we tried getting into the uefa cup through the intertwobob cup. we lost 4-0 on aggregate to zenit st petersburg - at valley parade, a young andre arshavin came on for his debut, and he looked top class back then.

we had dean windass up front for us - a legend at bradford, as well as hull.

A legend for Scarborough Athletic aswell, drew in crowds in their hundreds in the NCEFL when average attendancys were 50/60 for league matches. 4-0 on agg to Zenit not that bad really.

I remember watching Carbone for bradford, class player.

Embarassing against chelsea other week. They ripped your lot a complete new bumhole.

Need to get bent back playing regular + with good service. Ure midfield + defence far too young, and its not as if their promising youngsters...i mean some are like Lowton, but others you can forget.

i fancied our chances. don't forget, we were a premiership side back then. albeit, a poor one!

Well done Bradford, but Villa away could be too much for them
Sorry but its been 3 pages of wishful thinking

Whichever side ends up in the Final against Swansea can be congratulated as worthy runners up

I'm not sure Des, Bradford will go to Villa Park and literally 'Park' the bus..Villa need 2 goals to go through...it'll be all on the night, if bradford can nick one on the counter then there sailing into the final.

If villa can break down bradford, and get an early goal it could be a watershed.

Genuinley hope bradford do it, makes a change the lower division teams getting somewhere.

Must agree with all you said mark
What I expect will happen though is Bradford will try and preserve what they achieved so brilliantly this evening instead of trying to go out and again play with winning the game in mind and Villa who had plenty of scoring chances will take them next match
However I hope I am wrong

I was there what a night, the best match i have seen in 30 years of following the mighty bantams and we will do it at Villa. Villa havent got 3 goals in them, and we will get another, cant wait.

Sorry Villa fans, but if something isnt done soon, you will be visiting Leeds next season. Our fans fans weren't wrong when we chanted "premier league, your having a laugh" you were awful. Look on the bright side, when we do you and go to Wembley at least you will get another manager. Cos he will "be getting sacked in the morning".

Is there any where to get food and drink and parking near Villa Park? last time i went i was on a bus.

Cheers........Howard

Pleased for you Sirkit, bet it was a brilliant atmosphere.

Now to pi$$ on ure bonfire....:p....

I can see you're quite clearly an avid bantams fan, and good for you :) but from a neutrals perspective - not the biased oppinion of ures (and don't worry, im just as biased when it comes to spurs :)) ...

Going to Villa Park is a totally different prospective, no Villa don't have goals in them at premierleague level BUT you're a league 2 outfit - and bent/benteke or even agbonlahor on there day will give your defence nightmares. Villa had lots of chances against you (saw the extended highlights on sky today) and they failed to put them away - Matt Duke was absolutley fantastic.

Vlaar will make a difference for Villa in defence if he's back fit - the mans a complete no-nonsense defensive unit.

I'm not trying to put a downer on things - just put them into perspective. I genuinley hope you do beat them on the return leg, be great too see a yorkshire side in the final. I'll be willing bradford on come the return leg don't you worry. Just hope they don't get too carried away with it and also hope they don't go and play to defensive. Best of luck and really hope to see you in the final.

Mark.
