Breaks & smoke breaks

If I were ever to employ people again there would be no smoking OR mobile phones during working hours!

You want to smoke?? You want to phone?? you want to text??!! .. that's fine - BUT you do it in your official break time!!

I didnt think I was a smoking slacker. I swapped lunchbreaks for smoke breaks throughout the day.

I smoke tabs. When I was an employee I never skived off for one outside of breaks, if I was working outside or heading out to the cabins I'd have one though. The non smokers didn't get extra breaks for any of their habits so why should I have?
Now I'm SE I still don't, I think it projects the wrong image. I go in, I do the job, I get paid, I go home.

I agree with all of that - standing around smoking is still standing around not working, but if you're walking around outside you may as well be walking around and smoking, unless of course you're with a customer - making them breathe in your smoke is about as professional as making them smell your farts.

I agree with all of that - standing around smoking is still standing around not working, but if you're walking around outside you may as well be walking around and smoking, unless of course you're with a customer - making them breathe in your smoke is about as professional as making them smell your farts.

no way could inhaling a bit of my smoke be compared to one of my farts . a b it of smoke could never result in a customer going into a coma.
