Well I thik the news from Panasonic today was neither imagination or conjecture.View attachment 44007
Well it is imagination and conjecture because Panasonic have no real reason for moving their base from the UK other than their imagined fear or what could possibly happen after Brexit.
A lot of "business leaders" have had their noses put out of joint because of Brexit and their fear that they can no longer employ Eastern Europeans who work for low wages on seasonal contracts and are happy to live in 'digs' instead of having pay a living wage.

It's predominantly a left wing trait, for example when the Conservatives threw around the idea of taxing hot takeaway food, dubbed "The Pasty Tax" which never actually came into effect, although the pasty concession in my local Asda decided they were only going to serve luke warm pasties because "we're not allowed to serve them hot any more", presumably as one last political statement before they folded.
The McDonalds concession next door continue to sell hot food with no price increase.

It's a fact Adam, I'm sorry you don't understand it.
It's conjecture to say that they may move production out of the UK but their european office is locating to the Netherlands.
Don't worry about access to a low wage workforce, brexit will ensure that the UK will be a low tax low wage economy (conjecture)

What's it got to do with 'the left wing'?
There was already vat on hot takeaway food so McDonalds would have no need to increase their prices.
The so called pasty tax was to do with food that was bought hot but for consumtion at home.

"The pasty tax" was never actually implemented, but that didn't stop it being used as political ammunition, for instance by left wing pasty shop owners shooting themselves in the foot for the sake of making a political point, ie "when the Tories are in power you get cold pasties".

Oh I understand it alright Andy - Bremoaner business owners seem happy for their businesses to go down the drain for the sake of saying "I told you so".

I hate the word bemoaners, it is a Tory word "to those who oppose us", however we have voted out so lets get on with it, stop ----- footing about and just leave.

Left wing pasty shop owners???
Is that pasty shop owners who are left leaning in their politcal outlook?
or as I suspect a cabal of socialist cornish pasties intent on the overthrow of the capitalist system we now have.

The Cornish can go and stuff themselves.........

I must admit after seeing the news over the last 2-3 days it is a shambles at the moment, no one knows who is in charge lol or what our policies are, I reckon we are leaving with a no deal, and I don't think any of us has any idea what that will mean for us either, all very confusing.

I am hoping that interest rates rise to 15% house prices crash and I can get 12% on my savings. I like a bit of chaos in my life.
