BS7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations

Hi all,

New to this site, so be kind. Im currently half way through my training but, I am in desperate need for the Green cover book. I currently have the Red cover book. Where would you suggest the cheapest place for this will be?

They are all roughly the same price no matter where you look. Think they're slightly cheaper on the IET website but you need to register.

Just get it off amazon, might be cheaper elsewhere but not by much

Yes. The green OSG is about £15/£20.

Yeah seems steep for every amendment. Got the new OSG, just going to order the the big green book.

Or just keep your red one and download the amendments and put them in if your tight for cash?

Its roughly 150quid for BGB, OSG and GN3 and every couple of years, its a **** take.

Yer right. A daft idea if there ever was one.

Just make sure that you realise that new OSG, new BS7671 every 2 years, is the norm
