Hi

I have a board change comming up and don't know how to find the builing control for the property also how much will they charge???

plz help
 
I know the posts are old but the content remains relevent particularly where there has been no answer from anybody on my side of the fence. People are of course neither obliged to read nor reply but a fresh perspective may assist in a greater understanding between us and you.

I would have thought the 'qick fix' courses offering Part P standard training and CP scheme recognition over a week for ÂŁ800 from scratch would be a worry to 'proper' electricians

The market is certainly saturated with "Domestic Installers" some working for peanuts..
The quality of some (and I mean some... not ALL DI's) installations by persons registered with CP schemes is shocking (no pun intended) and I find domestic customers are increasingly coming back to the bigger contractor and willing paying a bit more.

You are very precise in your thinking, a cynic might think that you're here to 'stir the pot'!
