Hi all this is the situation.

I have been asked by the new lease holders for a new install on a newsagents, its currently a bare shell.
the property is a bungalow currently rented to tennants. Part of the bungalow ( very large room ) has been used as a shop before, but now has no supply. After seeing the fuseboard & meter for the bungalow, i seen that there was 2 meters, 1 for the shop & 1 for the residents. The shop meter had no load cables leaving.
it is a 80A tns supply.

My plan was to run a supply to the shop area and connect into the existing 2nd meter, all the services are shared.

my only hesitation is the fact that its only an 80a supply for both, but i dont expect loads will be high.

any advice would be appreciated

thanks

Complete guess, but it's probably cheaper to let a separate meter read a CT clamp and send the data to the charger's microcontroller using rs485...
