hi can anyone tell me the regulations on burying hv cable, depth, ducting?, need to be covered, any markings, type of infill or anything else of that nature- thanks i cant find it in the regs book
 
You will in that case need to tell us where you are planning to bury this cable and what it is for, along with what sort of distance were talking about here??
 
dont freak out guys i am not burying it myself i'm an apprentice and its happening at my workplace and my boss wants me to find out the regs but am struggling to get the info

That explains things a bit but you need to learn sometimes when asked a question you need to ask a few to help you get to the right answer mate
 
You won't find anything in the Reg's about MV distribution...lol!!

So what type of voltage are we looking at here then, and what sort of distances??

Oh Dear!! I take it you have no experience with MV cables or systems??

the terminology MV is a Manufacturers term the distribution and system is still classed as HV

Wait until monday i'll tell you which document to look for I don't have the details at home they're on my desk at work

It a better idea to install twin wall duct . Then you can always pull in a larger or extra cables in the future with out digging up the drive again
