Morning all
I would really like to push my business forward this year. Has anyone ever had a mentor / advisor or do we all just struggle along hoping for a break ?

a good kicking prob lol, advice someone to chat too bounce ideas. im going estate agents could do with pricing info call out all hours, hourly rates periodic pricing info ect

nobody is going to be able to help you with pricing.only you know what you need to earn.
but by all means, if you wanna talk and tell us you're ideas, whatever they may be, I'm sure most of us will be willing to listen and tell you what we think and help in any way we can.

im thinking £25 an hour with no call out 8 till 6
£45 call out first hour £25hr after first hour 6pm till 10pm
£75 call out first hour £45hr after first hour 10pm till 8am
periodic inspections £90
pat test 5 items £30 then £2 every item over 5
c/u change £250
rewires start from £1550

i want to put a basic price list together, something to shoe estate agents. what do you think to prices ?

Do you have any contacts who are letting agents? As you will probably find they already have there own teams for such things. Besides all they would want on a call out is make safe, before pricing repair later.

can you give up every hour every day, in the hope your phone may ring once a month?

no not yet, gota start somewhere mate.already done 20 thousand flyers, got another 10thousand in ready to be delivered. should try builders but i been ripped off once already.

How are you going to deliver them?

what other advertising do have in place or plan on doing?

work won't come overnight, you need to be patient, things will probably get worse before they get better.

Hi mate have you tried JRC properties.... i hear they pay a grand just to find a fault!!!! Hes definatley looking for more " boys"
Sorry couldnt help it!!!!

On a serious note your right you do need to start somewhere and hopefully your persistance patients and hopefully good quality workmanship will pay off for you. Good luck
