im thinking £25 an hour with no call out 8 till 6
£45 call out first hour £25hr after first hour 6pm till 10pm
£75 call out first hour £45hr after first hour 10pm till 8am
periodic inspections £90
pat test 5 items £30 then £2 every item over 5
c/u change £250
rewires start from £1550

i want to put a basic price list together, something to shoe estate agents. what do you think to prices ?
Too cheap. A proper EICR on a 3 bed house should take you the best part of a day once you've allowed for the documentation - same goes for a CU change. As for rewires - too many variables to give prices.

You have to think, when going into a business to offer your services, you have to think why should they, why would they and what are you going to do thats more beneficial to them? would your costing be in line with what they need? if the business relationshipwith the company and the current electrician is already good, what can you do to give them the shake up they need? I have no experience in being an electrician but i'm an experienced b2b handler and I Have to think like that when drumming up sales and contracts. you first need to know what you have so you know what you can give.

What's b2b?

going to hand deliver them myself, not advetising anywhere else. they are roughly the going rates around here for inspect and test c/u change is about wat there charging aswell.

You do realize to deliver that many leaflets will probably take you about a week, working about 8 hours a day. Thats a hell of alot of walking.

lol i know i already done 20k,when i get work i pay someonelse to do them. not a very good return as im lucky if i get a job out off it but you gota start somewhere.

I'm lucky in that I get 'free' flyers/leaflets thro a relative. I use them to occassionally post in the local area where Im working, and have to say the uptake has been ...... zero!
