Hi all does any one know what level the maths is in the 2330 level 3 coures?
after you achieve the 2330 level 3 can you get in to uni to do futher education in electrical engineering

I dont think there are any uni courses for electrics are there? Engineering Electronics, or Electrical Electronic Engineering I think they call it, will have units covering AC theory and motors etc.
I remember doin an ac module at uni, but also had to do machine code, C, maths, communications (Which contained mroe maths then the math module!!!), electronic circuit theory, some modules about netwrks like POTs, interweb, wireless etc etc. Not sure if there was ever a choice to specialise in electrics though.

GCSE level maths in L3.The 2330 is more practical, wheras in uni it will be all Math and theory, and the maths you are talking about degree level maths in electrical engineering: partial differtentials, complex numbers and all that useless bollx .I was heading for a degree but it involved tons of reading
which got too boring for me,so I'm trying to be an Electrician instead

i'm currently doing level 2 2330 and i asked the same question of my tutor. He said that the level 3 qual used some GCSE and some a level maths but to go onto a HNC/HND degree you need to do a maths bridging course
