Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum so bear with me. I was made redundant last June after 33 yrs in an office job. I'm a very skilled and able DIYer and self-taught electrician. I have done bathrooms, kitchens, extensions, conservatories even decking around static caravans, all required some form of electrical work to one degree or another, so I thought I would put all of that experience and knowledge into becoming a properly "Qualified and Safe Electrician", I'm going to my local college two evenings a week taking C&G 2330 Level 2 and consistently getting "A" grades for course work so I think this show's I mean business. I am due to sit the C&G 2377 PAT TEST exam in February and could do with a selection of test exams and answers just to nail it. I'm fairly confident I will pass without any problems but I don't want to do anything daft and prattish and end up failing, so the more practice I can get the better. I've got the books "IEE Code of Practice and Exam Success" but there is only so many times you can do the three exams offered in the book before it becomes a waist of time. I know it's very cheeky but here's my e-mail address in advance " [email protected] ". Thankyou all in advance, any and all help is greatly appreciated. Steve.

hi i was woundering if you can help me with a few questions : in order to reduce the possibility of electric shock through contact with live parts, the aperture of any electrical equipment must: a) meet test finger and test pin requirements b)be subjected to dielectric strength testing c) comply with the requirements of bs en 50950 d) be located so as be inaccessible to the user .
